FOOTAGE has emerged of passengers kick-starting their Ibiza holiday with an impromptu "rave" on board the flight from Glasgow Airport to the Spanish party island.

The Facebook video, titled 'Being oot yer nut at T in the Park', shows passengers singing along to club anthems blasted out on handheld music devices, while the cabin crew are heard pleading with holidaymakers not to swear in front of children.

A flight attendant is heard to say over the plane's tannoy system: "Ladies and gentlemen, please remain quiet. There are travellers on board with young children. Please do not swear. Thank you."

The incident is believed to have taken place on a Jet2 flight, but it is unclear when it was filmed.

The airline advises passengers bound for Ibiza when they check in at Glasgow Airport that antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated.

However, it comes days after the budget carrier's Glasgow-Ibiza flight hit the headlines over 21-year-old Glasgow passenger, Jamie Ferguson, who Jet2 has banned from their flights for life over his drunk and aggressive behaviour on board an outbound service earlier this month.

Ryanair has also banned passengers from bringing duty-free alcohol onto its flights between Glasgow Prestwick and Ibiza.

It comes amid a surge in booze-fuelled antisocial behaviour on flights, with the Civil Aviation Authority reporting a 43 per cent rise in incidents in the last year.
