THE nights may be fair drawing in (please don't shoot the messenger) but that doesn't mean there isn't bike-related fun to be had across Scotland. Here's some ideas to whet the appetite.

Go Girls: 2 Days of Mountain Bike Fun, Dundee and Perth
September 12 and October 10

Aspiring mountain bikers will have the chance to learn new skills as part of a two-day event.
The programme, aimed at girls aged between 8-13 years old, takes place in Dundee on September 12 and Kinnoull Hill, Perth, on October 10.
Day one will have a cross-country theme with day two orientated towards learning downhill skills. Participants need to bring a bike, helmet and suitable clothing for the weather.
Riders don’t need to be experts, but should be able to comfortably navigate a blue-graded trail at a mountain bike trail centre.
The event is supported by Scottish Cycling and Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland.
