A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman earlier this year.
Jennifer Edwards, 45, was found dead in Deas Wharf, Kirkcaldy, Fife, on June 14.
William Marshall, 42, was arrested on Wednesday and appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Thursday.
He was charged with murder and made no plea or declaration.
The case was continued for further examination and Marshall was granted bail but will remain in custody while the Crown Office appeal against his release.
The family of Ms Edwards previously paid tribute to her as a "much-loved mother, daughter and sister" who was an "intelligent and talented musician and sports therapist".
