After its sell out last year, Glasgow’s own Dear Green Coffee Roasters have confirmed the festival is to return on the 17th October. The festival – held at The Briggait – runs from 10am until 7pm and will host the UK’s first Coffee Roasting Championship, seeing participants compete against each other to produce the best coffee from the same batch.

The Herald:

The event also features exhibits from many well-known coffee brands: Artisan Roast, Dear Green, Glen Lyon, and La Marzocco to name just a few. There will be food and drink – read: coffee – available throughout the day, and presentations by industry specialists such as Five Elephant and Falcon Speciality. Live music, public cuppings, and an exhibition by local artist Wil Freeborn will also feature. Tickets are now on sale for £10; including entry, a hot drink, and an entry into the prize draw, and all proceeds will be donated to charity.
