Scots chef Gordon Ramsay has created an 'edible' tartan to celebrate St Andrews Day.

The tartan, which has been designed by Glasgow artist Jilli Blackwood, will be served as part of a Scottish-inspired menu at Ramsay's Plane Food restaurant in Terminal 5 during Heathrow Airport's Made in Scotland week.

The special menu also includes salmon and sourdough bread with tartan butter and cranachan with white chocolate tartan shards.

Mixologists at the restaurant have also created a Made in Scotland martini, which combines fresh raspberries, Drambuie and Hendrick's Gin in a tartan glass.
