A driver has been taken to hospital after her car burst into flames on a Glasgow motorway.
The woman's car - which is believed to be a Vauxhall Corsa - hit a barrier on the M8 motorway at Townhead before catching fire.
Emergency services attended the scene on the M8 at Townhead at around 12.30pm on the M8.
Part of the road was closed while investigations were carried out.
The driver, whose age has not yet been released, was rushed by ambulance to hospital.
A Scotland TranServ spokeswoman said diversions were in place.
