THEY may have secured a respectable result against some Young Turks in Europe this week but the view of Celtic's most famous fan is: "We are failing."
Rod Stewart has said he believe taking the helm of the Scottish champions is too big for manager Ronny Deila and would like to David Moyes to replace him at the helm.
His comments come as Celtic crashed out of the Europa League this week at the bottom of Group A, without winning a single match.
Speaking on talkSPORT, he explained: “If I was to say anything about the manager, I just think that maybe the club is a bit too big for him at this point in his career.
“I don’t want to run him down and mock him but that’s the way I look at it."
And, when pushed on whether former Manchester United and Everton boss David Moyes would be a good replacement, the Faces star admitted he would top his wishlist.
He added: “I can’t say that, I’m very close to the board there and the executive chairman. Something is wrong, but I wouldn’t mind David Moyes at all
“Fans are drifting away and something has got to be done.”
