POLICE are hunting six men who sang sectarian songs on a train.

The group boarded the 8pm train from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Waverley on Saturday December 12.

Sitting in the first class carriage at the back of the train, they sang the offensive songs before getting off at Falkirk High.

British Transport Police are now appealing for witnesses who can help trace them.

Constable Fiona Macaulay, the BTP officer in charge of the enquiry is appealing for anyone who was on the train or at the stations and has information which can help identify those responsible to contact her.
