Police are appealing for information after three Chihuahua's were stolen during a house break-in in Falkirk.

The house break-in happened between 7.15pm and 11.45pm on Saturday, December 12 in the Hallglen area.

The dogs, two males and one female, are all under one-year-old.

One of the male dogs is mainly black with tan and white down his stomach. The second has short ginger hair. The female dog has a long ginger coat.

Police say a three-figure sum of money was also taken during the break-in.

Sergeant Lyne Rushford from the Community Investigation Unit in Falkirk said: “We are obviously concerned for the dogs’ welfare and would be keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, or who has information that can help us trace those responsible.

“We would also ask anyone offered these dogs for sale to get in touch with us straight away.”
