Former Celtic manager Martin O'Neill was talking about a different game of football last night - as a pundit for the BBC's coverage of Super Bowl 50.

The hughly successful Republic of Ireland manager, who has just led his side to Euro 2016, and won three Scottish Premier League titles with Celtic, is a huge NFL fan - and he broke the internet with his punditry on the sport.

O'Neill, who also led the Hoops to the 2003 UEFA cup final in Seville against Porto, compared Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton to footballer Roy Keane who was also with him at Super Bowl 50.

He struggled to keep his headphones on and he even revealed the whole Irish squad were at the game as a treat.

The Denver Broncos won the Super Bowl 50, beating the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in San Francisco.

But the real winner was Martin O'Neill who had the internet laughing:
