POLICE have released the first image of a young man who died in suspicious circumstances as they continue appeals for information.
The body of Robert Fleming, 21, was discovered by officers on Lammermuir Road, Kilmarnock, at around 2pm on Sunday.
Officers said Mr Fleming was involved in an altercation outside Baker's nightclub on John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock, between 12.30am and 1am, earlier that day.
Mr Fleming then started to make his way home but collapsed and died en route.
A post mortem examination was carried out and police are treating the death as suspicious.
Police in charge of the case said the road outside the nightclub was busy and they are calling for witnesses to come forward.
