A woman who threatened a shop worker with a syringe during a robbery is being hunted by police.
The raider burst into the newsagents in Crow Road and demanded cash before threatening the female member of staff.
Police said the robber fled the scene with a three-figure sum of cash and the alarm was raised shortly before 8pm on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "At around 7.55pm on Monday February 22, police received a report of a robbery at RS McColl's in Crow Road, Glasgow.
"Inquiries are continuing."
