A WOMAN has died following an incident at a house in upmarket surburb Newton Mearns.
Police attended the scene at Beech Avenue around midnight last night.
A spokesman said: "A 39 year-old woman has died following an incident at a house in Beech Avenue, Newton Mearns, Glasgow on Tuesday, April 26.
"Police enquiries are continuing and officers are following a definite line of enquiry."
A woman who said she was a relative drove up to the property in a red car.
She parked outside the property and burst into tears.
She would not comment and quickly drove off.
