MORE than 50 firefighters are tackling a blaze at a sawmill in Aberdeenshire.

Crews were called to the scene on the outskirts of Inverurie at about 4.40am on Thursday.

A photography studio and repair workshop have also been caught up in the fire.

Police and ambulance crews are also in attendance but there are no reports of any injuries.

Senior officer David Rout said: "This is a very complex building which has presented us with a significant and challenging fire.

"Our firefighters are working hard to extinguish the blaze."
