A teenage boy who sparked concern after going missing without his phone or money has been traced.

Tyler Christie, 14, had not been in contact with friends or family since he was last seen near Alloa Park Drive in Alloa, Clackmannanshire, on Wednesday afternoon.

Police Scotland issued an appeal for information to help find him and confirmed on Thursday that he has been found.

A statement from the force said: "Police in Forth Valley are happy to confirm that Tyler Christie, the 14-year-old boy missing from Alloa, has been found safe and well."
