This week's Herald Social's at the launch of Zinn Apartments's new city centre complex in Aberdeen and the British Council's annual regional awards in Edinburgh.

In Aberdeen, about 100 people celebrated the launch of the new city centre complex.

The apartments in Raeburn Place provide fully serviced accommodation for up to 80 people.

Those attending the launch enjoyed drinks and canapes in the building’s stylish atrium area, as well as a tour of the new complex, which includes 26 one, two and three bedroom apartments, a mezzanine floor, rooftop terrace and a 16 metre waterfall.

Guests included the Zinn Apartments management team, staff, family, friends and professional connections, many of whom were involved in the three year project to complete the apartments.

Meanwhile, more than 250 guests attended the British Council for Offices’ regional awards in Edinburgh last month.

The  awards recognise the highest quality developments and set the standard for excellence in the regional and national office sector.

Winners included the offices of digital design agency Whitespace in Edinburgh; Aker Solutions Scottish headquarters in Aberdeen; 110 Queen Street and the Vodafone building in Glasgow; and Plot 8 in Inverness.
