These are the five men who make up Scotland's most wanted criminals.

Dubbed Scotland's most dangerous prisoner, Jonathan Kelly is a machete thug with a horrific record of violent crime who fled just three weeks after release.

Derek Ferguson is a 5'2 killer with half an ear who shot a barman dead in a Bishopbriggs pub parking lot.

Rezgar Zengana is a convicted sexual predator who posed as a taxi driver and raped a 25-year-old woman before fleeing the courts.

Israr Ali is a sleuth killer operating under multiple aliases and wanted in relation to the murder of Waqar Shah who was killed in his Shawlands flat.

Martin Banis is already wanted on a European Arrest Warrant and has been convicted in relation to eighteen charges of fraud.

Derek 'Deco' Ferguson has been on the run for seven years after the murder of Thomas Cameron who was shot dead at the Auchinairn Tavern in Bishopbriggs in 2007.

The murder suspect is believed to be under the payroll of an Irish mafia boss in the Costa Del Sol and is known to use a fake Irish accent.

His fellow suspect Billy Bates was found dead in the Clyde weeks after the murder in June 2007.

Violent thug Jonathan Kelly from Drumchapel, Glasgow has been on the run from prison for two years.

The dangerous 34-year-old has spent almost his full life in prison, originally jailed for a crazed machete attack that left his victim paralysed.

The scar-faced killer who was charged with nine other crimes in prison after attacking prison officers and inmates was freed early on a tag from Low Moss Prison.

Kelly remains at large after he cut off his tag and fled two years ago.

Police have admitted they have no leads and say he may have died from a drugs overdose.

Independent crime-fighting Charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £5,000 for information leading to the location and arrest of fugitive Johnathan Kelly.

Sexual predator Rezgar Zengana posed as a private hire taxi driver on Glasgow's Argyle Street in 2006 where he picked up his victim.

He drove a 25-year-old woman to her house in the Cessnock area of the city where he raped her after a Christmas party.

The convicted rapist was bailed in 2008 and fled Glasgow, meanwhile police believe he has been hiding in the Netherlands since his conviction.

Israr Ali is an expert sleuth believed to be hiding in his native Pakistan under one of several aliases.

Police want to speak to him over the death of 42-year-old Waquar Shah who was found dead in his Shawlands flat in 2010.

Martin Banis is a serial fraudster and was originally wanted on a European Arrest Warrant.

The Lativan was convicted and sentenced in relation to eighteen charges of fraud before he fled.

He was known to reside in Stirling.

Long-time most wanted conman Dariusz Eugeniusz Kazmierczak was arrested after appearing on Police Scotland's Fugitive Unit.

The Herald:

The fraudster faced 350 charges involving a total of £50,000, and 12 warrants for his arrest.

A statement from Police Scotland said: "Police Scotland's Fugitive Unit works closely with various partners within law enforcement, both in the UK and worldwide, to arrest fugitives from justice."

"Hard work and great efforts have been put into investigating these crimes, it is frustrating for the victims, their families and investigating officers when individuals evade capture and avoid facing justice."

"Police Scotland will continue to make every effort to ensure that they are caught and will face the charges against them in court. Warrants will remain valid until arrests are made."
