POLICE have released a further eight images of people they wish to trace as their Scottish Cup Final investigation continues.

Officers in Glasgow said they have released the images as part of their investigation into acts of violence, disorder and vandalism that took place during a pitch invasion following the final whistle of the match between Rangers and Hibernian at Hampden Park on Saturday, May 21.

They also say they are releasing images of persons they are keen to trace whom they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.

The latest batch of images to be released comes after a further seven people were arrested last week.

Addresses in Glasgow, Ayrshire, Livingston and Edinburgh were targeted and seven men, aged between 19, 19, 22, 24, 28, 45 and 49 were arrested.

This latest operation brought the total number of arrests to 50. The men were arrested for alleged assaults and disorder.
