A last call has gone out to companies, organisations, individuals, third sector organisations and community groups who are demonstrating a strong commitment and track record to diversity and inclusion to come forward have their achievements recognised.

The entry deadline for The Herald and GenAnalytics Diversity Awards in association with Bank of Scotland is Wednesday, August 17.

Frank McAveety, leader of Glasgow City Council and chair of Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, said: “Glasgow is an ambitious, inventive, entrepreneurial and welcoming city because of the diversity of our people and businesses.

"The Diversity Awards provide us with the perfect platform to recognise best practise within this field.”

Audrey Connolly, co-chair of LGBT Rainbow network, Lloyds Banking Group, said: “As the deadline for the Herald Diversity Award approaches, I’m looking forward to reviewing the fantastic stories of how diversity is being championed across Scotland.”

Entries are welcome across 12 categories before the Wednesday deadline.
