It was a great day at the track for some schoolchildren yesterday as boxer Charlie "Mailman" Flynn put them through their paces.
The Commonwealth Games gold medallist was on hand to mark the preparations for this year's Great Scottish Run
And the lightweight boxer, 22, from Newarthill, North Lanarkshire, revealed he will next fight at Glasgow's Hydro in October.

Charlie joined 16 schoolchildren at Glasgow's Crown Point Sports Complex where joined them on the running track.
He said: "It's great for the kids. The children are all excited, it's all to do with sport and it's good for them.
"It's good that they can have a good time. I love mixing with the kids and seeing their enthusiasm for taking part in sport.
"I'll be running in the Great Scottish Run this year. I'm going to do the 10k.
"It was great last year, running around Glasgow, seeing bands playing and everyone just having a really good time.
"It had really great vibes."
Charlie, a former postman, won the lightweight boxing gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014.

And despite feeling sorry for boxers such as Ireland's Michael Conlan and their appeals of alleged bad judging decisions at this year's Olympics, Charlie said they just have to accept it.
He said: "That's just boxing for you. You get bad decisions in every sport and at every level.
"It's unfortunate for boxers that thought they won but didn't get the decisions. No one can do anything about it unfortunately.
"I'm sure the fighters will go on to do well in the professional ranks now."
Charlie last fought in May when he defeated Abdon Cesar at the Hydro, and he revealed that he is due to fight again at the venue in October.
He added: "I'm hoping to fight again on October 6th at the Hydro.
"It depends on my hand as I hurt it in training, but that's healing up fine now and everything should be okay.
"There's nothing been confirmed in regards to who I'll fight, but I'll be on the undercard for Ricky Burns and I'm really looking forward to it."
The Great Scottish Run even will take place in Glasgow on October 1 and 2.
Competitors can run in the 10k and half marathon events.

A group of school pupils had a tougher than usual PE class as Commonwealth champion boxer Charlie Flynn put them through their paces.
The 22-year-old left the gloves to one side and concentrated on jogging with the St Mungo's Academy children in Glasgow as he prepares for the Bank of Scotland 2016 Great Scottish Run.
The event incorporates a half-marathon, a 10k and a series of fun runs to encourage people of all ages to get involved over the weekend of October 1 and 2.
Andy Mitchelmore, from the event organisers the Great Run Company, said: "The Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run has something for everyone - from Olympians and club runners at the front of the half-marathon to the youngest runners in the Toddler Dash on Super Saturday."
Flynn, who previously worked for Royal Mail, turned professional after winning gold at Glasgow 2014 and is a fan of running to keep him fit for the ring.
He said: "Come rain or sun on the Scottish run, be it Mike, Claire or Dan, you'll need fast feet on the Glasgow beat to out-run the Mailman."
