Tributes have been paid to a Greenock man who died following a street disturbance.
Locally named Lee Monaghan, 23, was found in the Belville Street with serious injuries at around 11.20pm on Wednnesday, August 24.
He died at the scene.
Friends have taken to social media to pay tribute to 'harmless wee Mini' who was a well known face in the community.

Janet Coyle said: "RIP Mini, thoughts and prayers are with your mum".
Robert Cairns Jr said: "So sad to be writing this but RIP to an old school pal wee mini. Took too soon, party on up there bud."
Harry Woodall said: "Gutted to here about wee Lee Monaghan one of the boys I grew up with such a quality, harmless, funny wee guy! Rest in peace my man!"
Aimee Barnes said: "Rest in peace Mini. Thoughts are with your family and friends. Toons a shambles man. Lee Monaghan."
Steph McIntyre said: "Horrible News ! Rip Lee Monaghan."
A Go Fund me page has also been created by friends to raise money for the 23-year-old's funeral.
It reads: "Sadly on Wednesday 24th August our good friend lee monaghan (mini) was taken from us in the most disgusting circumstances. Leaving behind his mum Sandra on her own.
Its times like this we all need to come together to help each other out and help sandra to give lee the proper funeral he deserves.
We know times are hard when it comes to money but every little penny help so we would all be eternally grateful if you could help out."
Police confirmed they have now launched a murder inquiry.
A post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death.

Detective Inspector Alan McAlpine, of Police Scotland’s Major Investigation Teams (West), said: “We are currently trying to establish the events leading up to the disturbance in Belville Street which ultimately resulted in the death of this young man.
“It is vital that we speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of Belville Street around 11.20pm last night and may have witnessed activity there, or perhaps seen the suspect or suspects running off.”
