Concern is growing for a teenage girl who has vanished after getting into a taxi to go to a house party.

Hayley McGonigle was last seen at around 12.30am on Saturday getting into a taxi in Nitshill to go to a house party in Crookston.

She was dropped off at Teviot Avenue in Foxbar around 1am, and is understood to have been with her 20-year-old boyfriend.

Her boyfriend has not been reported missing.

Her worried aunt Carolanne Crossey has pleaded with her to get in touch via the social networking site Facebook.

In a post, she said: "This is my 18-year-old niece Hayley McGonigle.

"She was last seen by her mum and dad at 12:30am last night (Saturday) getting into a taxi from Nitshill telling them she was going to a house party in Crookston.

"No one has heard from her since. Police have been informed."

The family have also revealed that they believe the pretty teenager was picked up by someone in Pollok and dropped off in Foxbar, Paisley.

In a post today her aunt added, "Hayley McGonigle is still missing and her family just need her home safe.

"We now know Hayley picked someone up in Pollok and was dropped off in Foxbar, Paisley. The police are doing everything they can. If I could just ask everyone to please keep sharing and help our family find Hayley."

A police spokeswoman said: "Hayley was last seen at Teviot Avenue, Foxbar at 1am on Sunday morning when she was dropped off by a taxi.

"She was in the company of her 20-year-old boyfriend.

"We would ask Hayley to get in touch, or if anyone knows of her whereabouts to contact 101."
