THIRTY-seven permanent jobs have been created at WebHelp’s Rothesay site after the contact centre firm signed a permanent contract with EasyJet.

The signing of the permanent contract not only secures those 23 Webhelp staff who worked on the easyJet account on a temporary basis and but sees 14 new staff.

The site was recently chosen to provide customer experience services for the new Scottish Children’s Lottery.

David Turner, chief executive of Webhelp UK, said: “Being able to confirm another high profile name to the community in Rothesay is a great testament to the dedication of this fantastic team of people.”

Lisa Burger, easyJet’s head of customer, said the deal was “an important boost to the local economy.”
