Police are reported to be looking into the possibility that she fell outside and froze to death.

Police are now investigating and said a post mortem will take place in due course.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Enquiries are ongoing after a woman was found dead outside her home.

"Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

"A post mortem will be carried out and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
