FREEAGENT, the Edinburgh based software-as-a-service provider has reported revenue of £8 million for the year ending March 2017 as losses narrowed more than expected.

In its first year end since floating on the alternative investment market (AIM) in November, FreeAgent said in a trading update that annualised committed monthly recurring revenue at period end was in line with market expectations at £8.6m respectively.

The group, led by Ed Molyneux, said that losses before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation and period end net cash are “expected to be comfortably better than current market expectations”.
