RANKIN JENI. Peacefully at home, on Saturday, 10th June, 2017, after a short journey with cancer, Jeni, beloved wife of Ian and mother of Naomi, Jonathan and Hannah. Burial at 10.30am on Saturday, 24th June at Monkton Woodland Cemetery, followed by a service at Ayr Baptist Church.

It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
