A video giving holidaymakers advice on what to do if they are caught up in a terrorist incident abroad has been viewed more than a million times.
The four-minute film depicting a firearms attack unfolding at a hotel was launched by counter-terror authorities on Monday July 10.
Since then, it has racked up more than a million views across online platforms.

The video adapts the police’s “run, hide, tell” safety message for a holiday setting.
The guidance says that people should run to a place of safety if there is a safe route, leaving belongings behind and insisting others go with them.
If there is nowhere to go, then they should hide by barricading themselves in and turn their phones to silent.

Then, only when it is safe, they should alert the authorities by calling the local emergency number, which holidaymakers should find out in advance.
Officers have stressed that there is no specific information that British holidaymakers will be targeted this summer.
But as millions prepare to jet off on overseas trips, police have issued a fresh call for people to view the film before they depart.

Detective chief superintendent Scott Wilson, national co-ordinator for the protect and prepare strategy, said: “I am delighted that the public have received this advice so well and that so many people have taken the time to prepare themselves in the incredibly unlikely event of being caught up in an attack.
“One million views means that there are potentially one million more people in the UK who are better prepared to act.
“This video is not intended to scare people, simply to make them spend a few minutes thinking about what they would do if the worst should happen.
“We want people to think of this in the same way they do the safety film airlines show before take-off. They don’t expect anything bad to happen but it is a sensible safety precaution to show people what to do.”
