Craig Galt
Police have confirmed they have found the body of an East Kilbride man who had been missing since yesterday.
The force has said the body of 32-year-old Craig Galt was discovered by officers this afternoon at around 3pm in wooded area Langlands Moss, which is near to Langlands Road in East Kilbride.
Mr Galt had been missing from the town since yesterday afternoon having last been seen at around 2.30pm in Simpson Drive.
Officers said Mr Galt’s relatives have been made aware.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
The developments come after it was reported earlier how police had launched a major search operation to trace him.
