SCOTLAND have suffered another injury blow ahead of the autumn internationals after Glasgow Warriors hooker Fraser Brown was sidelined.

The 28-year-old has been ruled out for up to eight weeks with a knee injury he sustained during last weekend's Champions Cup defeat against Exeter.

He now joins captain Greig Laidlaw in the treatment room for the upcoming three-match series against Samoa, New Zealand and Australia.

The Clermont Auvergne scrum-half fractured his ankle on club duty and will also be unavailable for all three Tests.

Scotland coach Gregor Townsend will announce his squad on Monday ahead of the opener against Samoa at Murrayfield on Saturday 11 November.
