GORDON: Little chance with the goal although had to look smart to block an effort from Chris Burke just after the leveller when he got down to his right. One ropey moment when he slid out of box but managed to grapple the ball back behind his line. (6)

LUSTIG: Captain for the day. Will have been disappointed with Kilmarnock’s leveller as Celtic failed to clear their lines to allow Jordan Jones to equalise. (6)

BITTON: Spent most of the game in his more familiar place in the middle of the park given Celtic’s hold on the ball. Back in defence in the absence of the injured Jozo Simunovic and will need his wits about him tomorrow night. (6)

AJER: Rare start for the towering Norwegian teenager who spent last season on loan at Kilmarnock. Did OK and will look to try and build on the exposure to first-team football. (6)

TIERNEY: Usual marauding afternoon up and down the flank but not in the same devastating form that he was against Aberdeen. (7)

ROBERTS: Full of trickery and running in the opening stages but afternoon cut short with a hamstring strain. Looks as though he will be sidelined for the next six weeks. (5)

KOUASSI: Cracking pass to set up Leigh Griffiths for the opening goal with a long ball over the top straight to the striker’s feet. Still finding his way at Celtic but arguably his most promising display since he arrived at the club. (7)

ROGIC: Started the game after his heroics in Aberdeen but struggled to show the same energy and verve. Drifted in and out of the game and couldn’t impose himself in the middle of the park. (6)

NTCHAM: Seemed to pick up an injury in the second period but linked well with Kouassi in the middle of the park before that. (7)

JOHNSTON: Earned a start after a string of impressive performances for the club’s performance side. Came into the game more when he shifted from the left flank onto the right following the injury to Roberts. (7)

GRIFFITHS: Back in the starting line-up after being on the bench for the midweek trip to Aberdeen and enjoyed his goal. Has now netted 93 goals in all for Celtic. (7)

SINCLAIR: Took over from the injured Roberts in the opening period but not his usual influence. Had one moment of brilliance late in the game when he found a way past two Kilmarnock defenders to make his way into the box but the move came to nothing. (7)

ARMSTRONG: Took over from the injured Ntcham just after the hour mark but couldn’t quite find a way into the game. Misplaced passes and struggled to make a difference. (5)

DEMBELE: On for the final 20 minutes and tried his luck from distance. Will be expected to lead the line to line tomorrow night against Bayern. (5)
