THE uncle of four children who were killed in a house fire in Greater Manchester has created a crowdfunding appeal so they "will all be buried together side by side".

Fifteen-year-old Demi Pearson, her brother Brandon, eight, and sisters Lacie, seven, and Lia, three, all died last Monday in the blaze at the family's mid-terraced home in Walkden, Salford. Their mother Michelle Pearson, 35, remains in a drug-induced coma.

Her family said she had previously begged to be moved to a safe house earlier that week.

Two men and a woman appeared in court on Friday charged with murdering the siblings.

Matt Pearson, who is the brother of Pearson, has started a fundraising appeal to help with funeral costs, which has already raised more than £14,000.

He said: "I want to give these kids the best funeral they deserve with customised coffins for them." Adding: "They will all be buried together side-by-side."

David Worrall, 25, of no fixed address, has been charged with four murders, arson with intent to endanger life and attempted murder.

Zak Bolland, 23, and Courtney Brierley, 20, both of Worsley, also face the same charges.
