Arrest after lollipop lady robbed
A man has been arrested and charged after a lollipop lady was robbed during the school run.
The alleged incident happened when the 36-year-old woman was carrying out her duties in Millgate Road, Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, at around 3.30pm on Tuesday.
She was not injured during the incident.
Police Scotland said a 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged with robbery.
He is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
