Police appeal for missing woman
A missing woman from Ayrshire has been fround safe and well after police re-appealed for informaiton into her whereabouts.
Linda Cairney, 52, who stays in the Prestwick area, had last been seen leaving Woodlands View Hospital in Irvine around 3.55pm on Friday afternoon.
Officers trying to trace her had released CCTV footage of her in a sports shop on Portland Street in Kilmarnock around 5.15pm on Friday.
Inspector Andy Dolan, Irvine Police Office, said at the time of the appeal: “Linda has been dealing with some personal issues lately and therefore it is vital we find her as quickly as possible.
Linda Cairney was traced safe and well in the Prestwick area on Saturday evening.
