A teenage girl who went missing from Ayrshire with a 12-year-old boy has been found safe and well in Manchester.

Olivia Bryson, 14, had last been seen with 12-year-old Leon Williamson at Glengarnock railway station in North Ayrshire, boarding a train to Glasgow at about 9.15am on Tuesday May 22.

It was thought they may have planned to travel to Manchester.

Police said Leon was found on May 24 and Olivia was traced "safe and well" in Manchester on Friday.

Both children live in residential accommodation in the Ayrshire area.
