HAYES school Parent Teacher Association had a touch of the Goldfinger when they raised £5,000 at a James Bond theme evening.
The money will pay for a refit and redecoration of the school hall at the West Common Road secondary school.
Two hundred wannabe secret agents packed into the hall and started the evening by drinking Martinis shaken and not stirred like their 007 hero.
Sixth formers served up the drinks in tuxedos and cocktail dresses and then treated the guests to lemon chicken, seafood salad and Stilton salad.
The art department decorated the hall with 007 silhouettes and a perfect evening was rounded off with the band, Official Secrets, playing a selection of Bond Theme anthems.
