Lady Luck deserted Hendon as they were held to a draw by a St Albans team playing their first league game of the year after having their suspension lifted.

The first half was dominated by defence but it took just four minutes of the second for the home team to score with Simon Martin slotting home from close range, despite looking offside.
David Hook made a fine save to keep Hendon in it before Ofori volleyed an exquisite goal from six yards out. Randall almost snatched the points for Hendon but Wilmot, playing against his former club, did enough.

A howling gale did not prevent Hendon from turning in one of their best performances of the season.
They got their reward on the half-hour mark after Hall turned into his own net after a good header from Forbes.
Hendon doubled their advantage five minutes later when a strong run from Ofori pierced the Chesham defence and his pass was finished off by Randall.
Hendon gave a superb defensive display in the second half and they could have won more comfortably as Woodruffe and Randall gave the defence a torrid time.
