Rekkers took an early lead when their goalkeeper Lee Wills scored from the penalty spot after Steven Morris was felled in the area.

With only 15 minutes gone Rekkers were reduced to 10 men when David Barker limped off. Lakeside soon drew level when a miss-hit cross drifted inside the far post.

Steven Morris restored Rekkers' lead when he went round the keeper. Kareem Dennis increased their lead just before half-time.

Lakeside scored following a corner and, with pressure increasing on 10- man Rekkers, Rory Kidger made a vital interception which sent Steven Morris away to score a breakaway goal.

Morris completed an outstanding hat- trick which he thoroughly deserved after an indefatigable run-around during the match.

Lee Wills also played his part when Rekkers were reduced to only nine players; his save of the season kept Lakeside at bay and ensured victory.
