Luke Feltham, who plays for the Sutton and District League team, won a competition run by Gillette in Match of the Day magazine.
The aim of the nationwide football contest was to find a team in dire need of a makeover.
The prize package includes a brand new kit for the team, Gillette grooming products, consultation with a sports psychologist and nutritionist and top training consultation.
To cap it all Gillette will hand over £1,000 to Old Plymouthians to splash out at their end of season party.
Old Plymouthian's team manager Steve Evans commented: “As a struggling amateur side in the Sutton & District League, this is a great boost for all the lads in the team and means our push
for promotion this season is now a likely prospect.
“Having a new kit is also a great bonus as our present one is four years old and has seen better days to say the least.”
Old Plymouthians FC were founded in 1995 and now have two teams playing in the league.
They have a new intake of players each year and are made up of players with links to Plymouth University they are mainly either graduates or undergrad-uates on a year out.
