A ROGUE jeweller who stole almost £100,000 worth of gems from customers has been jailed for 15 months.
Alan Morris, 55, claimed he was working on repairs and blamed other jewellers for delays after being confronted about missing items over a four-year period.
But police launched an investigation after dozens of customers complained that watches, rings, bracelets and necklaces had vanished from the Figaro shop in Hamilton.
