Assault trial PC 'tried to kiss colleague on duty'

A POLICE officer who is on trial accused of indecent assault tried to kiss a female colleague while on duty, a court heard yesterday.

Glasgow Sheriff Court heard Gary Cryans drove his colleague to a secluded golf course where he parked the police car and made a move on her.

The woman said she pushed him off and questioned his actions but that he said nothing and drove away. She described PC Cryans as a good police officer and good to work with but said he was in her personal space too often.
