Laura Rhoney was caught with the remaining discount books - worth almost £2800 - in her car.
Rhoney, who finished fourth in the 2006 AMF World Cup, had been acting as an agent for a charity fundraising voucher company but had lost her job. However, she failed to hand back 126 of the books, which she had been given to sell at £22 each. Instead, she sold eight of them them for £10 each on Facebook and pocketed the cash.
Rhoney, 34, of Precinct Street, Coupar Angus, Perthshire, appeared at Perth Sheriff Court and admitted stealing a quantity of the books between September 3 and November 1 last year.
Sentence was deferred.
