A 13-year-old boy was among those apprehended following Operation Wolf in the Edinburgh area yesterday.
The youth has been referred to the Children's Reporter in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a girl.
The remainder of those arrested were charged with historic domestic abuse and sexual offences.
A 44-year-old man from the Duddingston area was detained in connection with alleged sexual assaults against six people after reports to police in May.
A man aged 29 from Bathgate was arrested following a report last year of historic domestic violence and serious sexual assault.
Yesterday's activity also saw a 40-year-old man from Bo'ness arrested and charged in connection with historic sexual offences.
Two men aged 38 and 64 from the Restalrig area were charged in connection with historic sexual crimes against children and a 31-year-old man from the Drylaw area was charged with domestic assaults.
Officers from the area's public protection and violence reduction units were involved in the operation's latest day of action.
Detective Chief Inspector Alwyn Bell said: "A number of males are now subject to legal proceedings for a range of crimes including rape, indecent assault and domestic violence."
Mr Bell also urged people to come forward with any reports of historic or current sexual abuse and that all cases would be investigated.
