Cannabis plants taken from flat

CANNABIS plants worth an estimated £150,000 have been recovered from a flat.

Police made the discovery after swooping on the property in Bilsland Drive, in the Ruchill area of Glasgow.

Officers are appealing for information to help them track down those involved, following the raid on Friday afternoon.

Detective Inspector Frank Clarke, of the city centre police office, said: "This information about this recovery came from the local community; something that is vital to the force when tackling drug related crime.

"We are keen to speak to anyone who has information about the find."

Information can be given to Police Scotland on the non-emergency number 101, or by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
