Care worker in court over fraud

A COUNCIL social care worker is to stand trial accused of conning benefits bosses out of almost £7000.

Greig Hannigan, 32, is alleged to have told the Department for Work and Pensions that he was medically unfit to work while employed by Dundee City Council as a social care worker. He will stand trial in November.
