LEAGUE One football club Sheffield United has yet to decide whether convicted rapist Ched Evans will be allowed to play for them again after his release from prison tomorrow.

Blades manager Nigel Clough said: "We have had one or two discussions, we are awaiting a decision and the owners will make that in good time."

Wales striker Evans, 25, has served half of a five-year term for raping a 19-year-old woman in a Rhyl hotel room.

More than 90,000 people have signed a petition opposing his return to the club.
