Drugs trafficker back behind bars

A CONVICTED drugs trafficker was jailed for more than five and a half years after he was caught with quarter of a kilo of heroin, 51 days after he was freed early from his last prison sentence.

Joseph Hughes, 49, of Soapwork Lane, Dundee, was acting as a courier for the haul of the Class A drug destined for his home city when police stopped him in Edinburgh.
