A FATHER-OF-TWO has been convicted of stabbing his brother to death.

Peter Moore, 28, of O'Hare, Bonhill, Dunbartonshire, was found guilty of murdering his brother Derek, 25, at a flat in Drive Road, Govan, on January 3.

He now faces life imprisonment and next month judge Lady Wolffe will determine how long he must serve behind bars before being eligible for parole.

Lady Wolffe told Moore: "You have been convicted of one of the most serious crimes that can be committed in this country. You will be looking at a substantial custodial sentence."

The fatal stab wound which caused massive internal bleeding was to Mr Moore's abdomen.

He was stabbed four times and had in total 75 injuries to his body. The High Court in Glasgow heard the two brothers had been staying at their mother's Glasgow home over the festive period.
