The 14-year-old said she was attacked while with a friend, also 14, on Thursday night in Dunoon, Argyll and Bute.
Strathclyde Police said she had reported the assault, in Alexandra Parade, at 11pm.
Police have appealed for witnesses.

A SCHOOLGIRL has been sexually assaulted in a seaside town.
