Husband of murder victim leaves home

THE husband of a woman who was murdered and her body left in a park has moved out of the home the couple shared.

It is believed John Campbell could no longer face living in the flat in Bellrock Street, Cranhill, Glasgow, that he shared with Jean, his wife of 34 years.

Mr Campbell found his wife's body in Cranhill Park - just minutes from the flat - after returning home from work to discover she was missing.

Mr Campbell, 55, is understood to have heard the couple's German shepherd, Kai, barking from across the road in the park.

Detectives are still working to establish a motive for the killing.
