CELTIC manager Neil Lennon is the most "demonised, loathed and hated" man in Scottish football, a former player claimed last night.

Andy Walker, who played in the club’s double-winning team of 1987-88 and is now a television pundit, said yesterday he had “never known any figure to be so loathed, so demonised, so hated” after Lennon was allegedly attacked on the touchline during Wednesday’s game against Hearts at Tynecastle Stadium.
